Check engine light on already

Just venting here. I have 550 miles on my 2019 F250 (bought it new) and the check engine light is now on. Super frustrating....

Checked. It appears to be on correctly and the light is still on. Thank you though.

When was your truck built? MY2019 SD production started in July 2018. Your truck’s Oil Life Monitor may be approaching its one-year limit.

Interesting, I am not sure. How can I check that? The door jam?

Message "Change Engine Oil Soon" - The engine oil life remaining is 10% or less.
Message "Oil Change Required" - The oil life left is at 0%.

At least on the diesel. Is yours diesel?

No messages of the sort are appearing, assuming they would show up on the electronic read out on the dash upon start-up (similar to the low tire pressure warning).

If I am reading the door jam sticker correctly, it appears my truck was built 04/2019.

Code reader, Forscan or take it to the dealer. The dealer may be your best option since it’s new. A code reader would be your quickest.

Otherwise we are all just guessing at what the code and the issue may be.

Buy yourself a $30 code reader. Mine has paid for itself multiple times over in time and money. Pull the code and google it to see what could be the problem.

It's under warranty. Take it in. Nuff said here. Check engine light doesn't come on when an oil change is due. You would have a message in the DIC.

Exactly! Mine came on a couple weeks ago with 8K miles and owned since September. At first I was ticked then I was like wait just call the dealership and have them deal with it. Took it next morning and had it back that afternoon good to go.

I blew it on this one; my apologies.

Hope you find a quick fix!
