What should be included with the FX4 package? Skid plates? or one skid plate under the fuel tank? I dont see skid plates only one skid plate under the fuel tank. nothing under the transmission, Also the shocks are black not red white ranchos. Is this normal for 2019? Would like to know what others have. Thank you.

You’ll want these features if you’ll be traveling off-road in earnest: Hill Descent Control™, specially tuned shocks, transfer case and fuel tank skid plates, and unique “FX4 Off-Road” box decal.

I dont see one on my transfer case Ill have to run it back to the dealer.

 

Simple answer is nothing worth paying the huge markup for.

Box side decals
Transfercase skid plate
Fuel tank skid plate
Hill Descent Control
Off Road Shocks ( Same shocks on all trims now just without the cheap white paint)

Also requires the selection of the electronic locking differential in SRW trucks.

 

Its a decal mainly.

Speaking of the FX4 package...I crawled around under the 2019 SCLB last nite and noticed some strange markings

on the "FX4 Off-road shocks"....anyone else have the same markings? Some sort of Ford code?

 

I would disagree, it is worth paying for if you plan on wheeling your truck, and if you bend them, and dealer can't fix them? Ford with replace them at no cost under warranty period. I'm glad this wasn't the hit my gas tank took on a trail ride a few weeks ago.

 

The skid plates are the only option worth paying for in the package. Thankfully they can be ordered separately for 100.00.

 

Mine don't have those paint markings, 2019 CCSB.
