So, i removed my instrument cluster to switch out some of the bulbs with blue LEDs. After swapping out 10 bulbs to LEDs and putting the cluster back in, my turn signals no longer work (turn signal dash lights and checking outside of the truck the turn signals dont work).
Also, my RPM gauge is no longer working and half of the bulbs dont even light up on the cluster now.
Is this possibly the printed circuit board on the instrument cluster that needs to be replaced or is it something else.
I double checked to make sure that everything was connected back fine.
LEDs aren't like normal bulbs, they only work installed one way. I'd try flipping around the ones that don't light up, should remedy that problem.
If your tach isn't working, make sure you've seated your connectors well, check for a broken wire from you forcing the harness (old stuff can be brittle), and maybe you spread a pin in the connector by accident.
As far as I know, I believe the signal bulbs in the cluster need to be incandescent, I know if one replaces the exterior bulbs with LEDs that you need resistors in series.

Thanks man. So I won’t be able to put LEDs in? If so, what do you mean by putting resistors in? Sorry I’m not smart when it comes to this stuff.
Hopefully i can get my rpm and fuel gauge working again.
You can put LEDS in. Like Onions stated they only work installed in one direction, try both ways to see if they light up. The before/after brightness is not that extreme, rather the crispness of the lights turning on/off is nice. So far I have the turn signals, check engine, battery, abs all set to LED with no resistors installed. Only one left is the high beam indicator, guess you have to disassemble more to do that one.
