I have a 62 F100 with 292 y block. I think the carb is stock, but not sure. I'd just like to know what it is. I'm thinking of rebuilding it and I want to make sure I get the right parts etc. I can't find any identifying marks on it except for the number 1.14 stamped on the driver's side. Looks like the tag is there, but I can not read it. Tried to scrape it clean but it really wouldn't come off.
Here are some pics if that helps.
It looks right, it's a pre-64 style Autolite 2100, can tell by the slotted screw on top of the accelerator pump housing, these use an additional check ball and slightly different pump diaphragm with the extended rod, a spring, and a phenolic spacer. More modern Motorcraft carburetors use the familiar red rubber check diaphragm.
One nice thing about these is modern Holley jets will fit. One thing I'm not sure about is the venturi size of 1.14", by '64 at least, only 1.02" venturi size was offered on the 292 in Trucks. Get the code off the aluminum tag if still present, and it will tell the tale. The Shop Manual has the engine/venturi info too. I'd think it might have come off a car, and Trucks had manual choke I betcha. A 6.5" power valve is included with most kits and should work fine, unless you live in Leadville or something like that.
It's an excellent carburetor. The main bugaboo with these, is after long use the throttle butterfly rod wears on the holes in the carb body introducing a vacuum leak, be sure to check for excessive sideplay. I would get a hold of Mike at Mike's Carburetors, he sells quality carb kits and different accelerator pump styles singly etc., for not too much money. I'm sure there are other firms too, but have had good luck with them.

Original carb ID tag is metal and triangular shaped, attaches to the front of the air horn using one of the two visible screws. It's missing, the white label is an aftermarket rebuilders tag.
1961/62 trucks with a 292 would have had a Holley 2V, but that's not what this carb is.
This is a 2100 series Auto-Lite 2V that was introduced in 1963, used thru 1974.
Look on the base of the carb for an stamped ID number, post what it is. Number will be similar to this: C3TF-K
Thanks for the help. I couldn't really get a good look at it in the dark. I'll check it over when intake it off to make sure I know what I'm dealing with.
