My 2016 Lariat, with chrome package and 18" wheels has ended up with three bent wheels - - one badly such that the tire tread is affected and the other two just enough to be noticeable when rolling at the legal speed limit........... These are the seven spoke, chrome clad aluminum stock wheels.
One tire shop blamed the poor quality wheel on a 250 truck and road conditions, but the fact that no tires were damaged, I'm having trouble understanding how enough impact to bend a wheel, didn't damage the tire - - - and I have three of the four with problems.
All that aside, I am having little luck in finding a source for replacements. Ford replacements are way too pricey and I am not sure that I want to go that route . Any recommendations for a source of good wheels -chrome preferred - would be appreciated.
The odds of one person having 3 bent factory wheels at the same time is astronomically low. Are you absolutely sure it's the wheels? What caused the issue to make the wheels seem bent?

Not really. Hit a large enough curb at the right speed... and all 4 could be toast.
The three wheels are definitely bent/warped or however they are best described. The "wobble" can be seen when they are mounted on a balancing machine.
I find myself wondering if the problem might have been caused by improper torqueing when the tires were rotated at oil change time - - those wheels are an awfully lot of metal to get that far messed-up with no visible damage.
Any wheel source thoughts will be appreciated.
