Interesting you should mention this. I originally starting pondering this since I will need new tires in the near future. If I were to go with the LT275/70R18 tires (an option for my truck’s MY) over the LT275/65R18 the effective final drive ratio would numerically lower from 3:55 to 3:43.

This in and of itself does not affect the GVWR but I’m wondering if I would notice a 0.12 numerically lower final drive ratio while towing our fifth wheel?
