I am about to tackle this same job because 2 of my manifold studs are already busted making my truck sounds terrible. I Have been hunting for long tubes as well, and this is the only set I can find that says it will fit: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/p...view/make/ford
No one cares about the Excusions with the 5.4's haha. I bought a v10 to swap mine out with, but ended up selling it. I will ride out this 5.4 until it dies.

its dragging along with the rain here ive had three sunny days in two weeks but managed to remove 2 of the 5 with the help of my father and his experience with a welder. melted half the nut off of one before it gave but luckily half a nut was enough to seat a box wrench. the third stud that was protruding from the threads broke the stud so its almost flush now. i guess ill be ordering that lisle 68500 template i may have to unbolt the motor mounts to get the correct angle but well wait til the guide arrives to be sure unbolting is even needed. im hoping hollowing out the studs will allow them to finally break free.

Looks pretty daggum center to me
Bam! The provided extractor requires a one inch 3/16 hole. The extractors got it with a 1/8 bit lil less than 1/2 in deep. Also I would recommend a carbide bit everything else didn't seem to eat at all only the cheap ol harbor freight left hand cobalt bits (<$15)
Been a hell of an experience to say the least but only two left and then we are back in business hopefully (if I dare say) it will be fixed tomorrow I should be able to make more head way tonight then replace my busted caliper tomorrow bleed em and then I'm done daggumit been a hell of a few weeks I didn't think I could miss the fatty so much
