locking hub parts

I Have a 1995 f-150 4x4. Servicing the wheel bearings and hubs today.
I've never had hubs like this, they have 3 piece spacer setup and a half moon clip axle retainer.
One side the plastic ring came out in pieces. I don't know the make of the hubs so don't know where to get replacement parts.
Can I toss the 3 piece spacer and C clip and use the snap ring axle retainer

Posting a picture would help quite a bit. Are they stock hubs?

Offhand I would say “No.”

As was stated in the previous post, pictures would help.

Sounds like you may have automatic hubs. Throw them away and get some others.

Talked to the guys at my local shop, the say they're late 95 and 96 factory hubs.
It's a ------! system I much prefer the old style with the snap ring.
I bent the steel space into a spring seems to work fine.

There is a lot of hate around here for auto hubs but I never had a problem with mine. I did break them but I think that was mostly my fault and I replaced them with another set of autos
