Alternator wiring
In the diagram I've been referencing, it shows a connection from the stator on the alternator to the stator on the voltage regulator. But it also shows it tapped off to the ignition switch and the choke. Is this just to keep the choke energized so it has power when you crank?
The way it's currently wired is from the out of the starter solenoid to the ignition coil then to the choke.
If I leave the solenoid/coil/choke wiring the way it is should I still tap off from the stator to the ignition switch/choke or just run from the stator on the alternator to the stator terminal on the regulator?
