Pleased to be here.
Ive been a DIYer mechanic for quite a some time now. I got started in 2011 when I was given a Buick Park Avenue that had mechanical issues. Even though I couldn't drive it and had very very limited knowledge and skills, I saw this as an opportunity to increase my own skill in this area. I already had a love for vehicles, but couldn't go to school. I know it was in my blood to work on cars because my grandfather and father were also mechanics. 8 years into the game, i can definitely say that I have well enough knowledge and skill to work on cars and trucks, but I also know that i still have a lot to learn.
And thats why Im glad I found this site. Its good to know that if you need advice on something that you can go to these forums and ask for help and assistance from people who are more knowledgable and qualified than you are to help you with your vehicle. Ive been a big Ford person since my second car (my first car was a Buick) and just about every car Ive had since the first have all been Fords or Mercury (My second car was the great Ford Taurus of the year 2000. Man I love the body on that car). I don't know but it's something about me and Fords. We just have a special connection! But anyway, just want to thank everyone in advance for all help that is and will be given to me and one day I hope to be of service to some of you also here in this forum.
Sending the best wishes to every single person in this forum.
