It might be the original bench seat, but it has been reupholstered and doesn't match what the original upholstery looked like, which was vinyl.
There may be a metal strip (buck tag) with an ID engineering number stamped on it attached to the seat frame or wired to the seat springs.
The prefix of the number will be for whatever year your truck is. 1965 example could be: C5TA, C5TB or C5T something.
This tag was installed by the maker of the seat frame who also installed the upholstery. It was not installed by FoMoCo, the seats were purchased from outside suppliers.
Assembly line workers decoded the ID number, which would enable them to install the correct seat that matched the build sheet.

Ok i'll look for a tag, thanks. Also another reason i don't think it's original is the latch to fold the seat back forward contacts the gas tank if the seat is in the rearmost track position. Unless this is just a poor engineer design of the stock seat...
Anyways looking to redo my interior and want to get a new cover for whatever ERA bench I have.

My guess is, that seat is out of a 70's or newer truck, and that the truck it came out of was either a Supercab or Crewcab, as the only time I've ever seen FORD spend a nickel to finish the backside of the front seat is when there are more seats behind the bench.
Going one step further, the "tweed" with velour was more of an 80's thing........
