Holley Sniper
I want to give a shout out for the Holley sniper. We built a 351 windsor Gt40p heads, shorty headers, e303 cam, aftermarket dual plane high rise manifold. Compression right at 9.8 to one. Put an Edelbrock carb on. It ran good but had to do a lot of tuning and spring and needle changing to keep the AF in a good range. It was a typical carb trying to get it run cold. Grandson found an excellent buy on a Holley sniper complete kit brand new. Install wasn’t bad. And the results are awesome. It starts cold idles fine and runs like a scalded dog. No comparison. Thumbs up. The performance so much better that it justifies the cost.
