Stainless Brake Line hunt.

Looking for braided stainless brake lines for my 78 F150. It is 4WD with a 4.9 and a NP435/205. It has 4 rubber lines I would like to replace. 2 fronts....1 rear...and a short one connecting the solid line to the front axle. I have been able to find the 3 easy ones but the 4th has proven problematic. Anyone know where to find the short line for the front axle?

You might try Inline Tube. I got all four rubber lines from Rock Auto.

For braided stainless you might have to make your own out of their components.

If you are doing all lines (from master cylinder to wheels) get a kit. It will save you time and money.

I did mine piece by piece and regret it. It worked out okay, but would have been much better if I had just gotten an entire kit.

See if the kit leaves anything out and then go from there.

Go to a hydraulic hose shop and get them custom made to length. Much less expensive that stock rubber hose for me in the past....

You want to replace the front axle center hard line from the T block where it changes to soft line and it steps up to the frame/brake block (pro valve)? I'd check with Pro Comp or Russell ? https://www.summitracing.com/int/sea...tainless-steel

Or a place that offers brake lines for lifted Bronco's, even early Bronco's?

Toms https://www.tomsbroncoparts.com/cate...ke-lines-hoses

Might be it? https://www.tomsbroncoparts.com/prod...-or-lifted-new
