My buddies '05 F-350 King Ranch was recently stolen and recovered. They stripped the seats, stereo, console and door panels from it. He opted to buy it back from his insurance company and found all the stolen components at a local wrecking yard for $!500. He wants to upgrade the keyless entry with the DEI/Automate 3808, 1.5A add on alarm using the horn as he doesn't want to have to use two separate remotes. I am trying to help him with the connection of this unit but I believe the wiring diagram/schematic we have for the truck is not 100% correct. The DEI instructions are fairly clear but it's finding which wires to tap into on the truck that is the issue. Has anyone performed this installation? Does anyone have the wiring diagram/schematic of the '05 Super Duty they could share with me. I have searched high and low on this forum as well as others but nothing . I have even called Directed Electronics to see if they had any specifics on the vehicle. We even contacted every car stereo/alarm shop in a 50 mile radius and they are all booked out until June or July. He would like to get this done very soon as we are holding off installing the stereo equipment until the alarm is in and operating. Thank you in advance for any assistance anyone can provide.
