yes it is durable. You do have to put on several coats. It’s best to have 4-5 thin coats. If you get it to the right thickness you can peel it off like a skin. That’s why people put them on rims because you can peel it off when you want to. But at the same time it is very durable.

It’s been awhile for an update, but got a lot done in the last couple weeks.
The plastidip on the inner fender splash guards look good. Will have to see if they are durable.
Got the engine put back together. Went with edelbrock performer heads and the upper and lower intake manifold. Also went with the scorpion roller rockers and new injectors.
Getting the engine back in.
The upper on the intake is barely hitting the firewall. Will have to do some slight modification to the firewall to make it fit.
Engine and transmission in. Still have to figure out the TC.

Its just in to make sure it fits, and to mock up the support brackets. The transmission is being held in place by a floor jack. I hope the back comes down a 1/2 inch or so, it might give enough clearance on the intake manifold.

It is going to get converted to a mass air flow system, with sequential injector firing and a computer from a mustang. It’s a complete wiring harness and computer from interactive system & technologies.
