Got the air box, mass air flow and tubing all in. Also got the new ac compressor and nostolgic air system installed. Will try to fire it up for the first time this weekend

Also found a decent chrome bumber that looks a lot better than the painted one.

Got it to fire up. Had to replace the MAF sensor, had a blown fuse on one of the relays and a loose spark plug/wire.

Now it fires and runs runs good but idles at about 2000. Couldn’t find any vacuum leaks so will try a new throttle position sensor. Cant seem to get videos to upload.

ive had good luck using a vacuum pump to check each line/sensor individually for leaks and you can check operation of egr and map sensor as well. do you have vacuum going into the cab or a vacuum reservoir?

He has the TC in and is making a mounting bracket from the donor truck. You are correct, The TC is tucked up in and rotated up on the drivers side 10-15 degrees to get the clearance. Hope to have the Tc finalized by next week with drive lines in. He has done this with a couple other builds so I am confident he will make it work.
I dropped my engine in. Looks like the rear of the Windsor engine is 1" farther back than the 351M was. I'm going to cut new holes in the frame towers to move the engine front one inch. The AOD will mount using the factory cross member and mount from the C6. With the 205 transfer the front driveshaft will even fit. I think by going front the one inch I'll avoid any potential firewall clearance issues and there is plenty of room between the fan and radiator.

Nice, I wish I would have done the same. There is plenty of room at the radiator and 1 inch forward would be perfect.

It’s been slow going for a couple months, but finally getting back to working on it. Interior is pretty much done. Got a acc carpet kit and a seat from a 95 Eddie Bauer reupholstered and installed. New stereo, amps and speakers installed. Also dynamat and foam in.

Also refinished the headliner and overhead tray.

also made a “headliner” to cover the dynamat under the back window.

Need to get the ac lines run And get the transmission controller (us shift) connected and then it should be drivable.

Installed a 1 1/2 lift block to get the rear end back to level. Hard to tell In the picture, but it really improved the stance.

before

after.
