Well, finally getting around to cleaning my throttle body and look what I found.
Had no idea it was there.
The coolest part is that the PO even had it installed backwards.
Figure what the hell, I'll flip it around and run it for a while, see if I notice any difference.
Aren't these things supposed to be like the next best thing to a supercharger.
I think that unless someone else has this device, you will need to check with the MFGR to determine if all components are in place. Then you can determine if there is some additional power to be had.
Likely it would at least help with the ability of the motor to breath at least.

My understanding of these tb spacers is that performance wise the most you can expect get out of them is maybe a little bit better throttle response, but for the most part they are considered ‘snake oil’.
I’ll run it for a while and see I guess.
In carbureted days they helped with air flow and were a heat insulator. I seriously doubt that it will do anything for your fuel injected truck. If a spacer would have increased performance then Ford would have just made the intake a little longer themselves. Ford and others were always looking for the best fuel mileage for CART reasons and if extending intake would have added anything they would have done it. JMO..
