It looks like it should work. The only problem with that setup is you cannot use the trans mounted nss. You will need to change the steering column to the earlier style with the nss on the column, or jump the nss connector in the harness. If you do that, the truck will start in gear.

1978 Bronco C6 shift lever

I think the thread refers to the part I’m looking for. The lever arm is detached from the shaft, looks like it was sweated onto the shaft and has a number D8TP-BA stamped on the lever. Looking at the parts list it looks like 7A024 is what I’m needing. Can anyone please provide the actual part number needed to get a replacement if it’s still available? Or is there a good way to reattach the lever arm to the shaft, possibly HVAC compressor solder?
