Has anyone polished their Side Mirror surfaces? Mine are pretty crappy, made worse when it's raining. I tried RainX for plastic, and it just enhanced the film and spotting on the mirrors. They are some kind plastic, but not sure what or the denier hardness. I looked into the stick on repair Mirrors, but they are too dark at night.

 

If you are gentle, you can use plastic polish and it works well but if you rub too aggressively, you can go right through the vacuume plating
