Question Throttle linkage

Well my truck caught on fire... (1986 full size Ford Bronco w/ 351W) The fire was mostly contained to the top of the motor fortunately. Anyway, to make a long story short...I bought a Rochester Q-Jet off of a buddy of mine. I have it bolted in place on a new edlebrock performer idle-5500 intake, the problem is I don't know who makes a throttle conversion kit to hook up all the linkeage. SOMEBODY HELP!!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx!!

How are the rear barrels going to open since the intake is a squarebore and your carb is a spreadbore?
I don't know of anybody that makes a Ford kickdown adapter for a Q-Jet.

Adapter plate

Mr. Gasket makes an adapter plate for the conversion between the square bore and spread bore. I lucked out there.....just not with the throttle linkeage yet. Still waiting for any replies.

OH yeah, I have seen those. Good luck on the linkage, it won't be easy to find. I have never seen any. You may have to do some fabrication yourself.

Have you tried Summit? They have brackets, universal cables, and even peddles assemblies. Good luck.

Hooking up the throttle cable won't be a problem, you just need a ball stud. It's the kickdown linksge that will be difficult to come up with.

They offer a Lokar brand bracket and spring kit that say's it will hook to any EB,Carter,Qjet or dual quad setup. Thought maybe something like that might work.
