Alright...what the skinny on ball joints? I had heard good things about XRF, but some of the reviews don't lend much confidence. I installed Moogs in the '01, they were a bit tight for 10k miles, now they seem fine. Looked at DynaTrack.....not for $600+...can't/won't do it.
I installed Moog almost 18 months ago no issues. The Dynatrack are the best and are rebuildable but as you’ve see they’re not cheap. I actually went with them on my Jeep when I welded the Artec truss and Gussets on my front axle. You definitely can feel the quality but I also noticed my wallet was lighter too.
Moog has had a lot of mixed reports, and I've had one go out in less than 20K miles... no more Moog for me. Also, since mine is 2WD, Spicer is not an option, either. I just stick with XRF's now.
Spicer if you want OEM quality, Dynatrac if you want OEM quality forever.
moog, xrf, and all the rest of them if you are broke or just fixing it to sell.
SO... I know that there are no Spicer options for 2WD... are there any Dynatrac options?
I just asked my buddy with a 2wd what he used. The brand name is GES parts. He has had them on there for a couple of years and says they are better quality than the oem's.
Spicer if you want OEM quality, Dynatrac if you want OEM quality forever.
moog, xrf, and all the rest of them if you are broke or just fixing it to sell.
I'm doing a coil spring conversion on a truck I plan to keep a long time. Also, I might pick your brain on building a track bar like Baja makes.
