I need a d/s window regulator for my 71 f100. It is my daily driver and currently my window is down, the gear stripped. Ive looked all over for one, cannot find anywhere where one is in stock and the used ones I have found for sale by private parties or parts dealers are rotted and not worth the time to replace it with. For some reason the p/s regulator is easy to come by. Its frustrating, but I need to track one down..a good used or a remanufactured one. If anyone knows where Id be able to find one, itd be greatly appreciated.

C8TZ-8123201-A .. Left Window Regulator / Obsolete/Reproduced?
1968/72 F100/750 // No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any, none on ebay.
At one time Carpenter had this, it may have been NOS or a repro.
Carpenter doesn't have any NOS because if he did, they would have showed up on the two obsolete parts search websites I use.
Are you sure the regulator is stripped? There is a window roller (262A32 in pic) between the arm of the regulator and the window channel the glass is adhered to.
The roller breaks, the window falls down to the bottom of the door.
The window was working fine, I rolled it down at the atm, went to roll it up and it wouldnt do anything besides jerk up & down, not grabbing. It never fell and nothing sounded like it broke. I assumed it was the regulator. I will tear down the door tommorow, hopefully its a part I can locate and not the regulator. Thanks for the reply.
I read somewhere on how someone took a passenger side regulator gear and installed it in the drivers side regulator. Never did this myself but thought I might try it someday.

I don't know if this process will work or not, but here's the right side info.
C8TZ-8123200-A .. Right Window Regulator / Obsolete
1968/72 F100/750.
NOS PARTS LTD in Waxahachie TX has 1 = 972-937-2201.
GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 5 = 800-543-4959.
CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has 9 = 800-476-9653.
I'm sure they may be Chinese knockoffs, but pasting the first part number ND supplied into Google immediately finds multiple vendors selling a part listed as C8TZ-8123201-A.
Auto Krafters and C&G Ford Parts are the first two hits.

I called C&G (Escondido CA), they don't have any. Fellow that answered the phone said they were repro'd...at one time, but he didn't know by whom or when any more would be available.
I would assume that every other source on that Google list will be in the same boat: Out of stock, don't know if it will be reproduced again.
The problem with this Google info is, it's old, old, old because the sources do not update the info on their websites.
Auto Krafters website let's me add one into my shopping cart. No indication they are out of stock. May at least be worth the OP's time to give them a buzz.
I would guess maybe whoever reprod the part only made so many and found that a part like this just isn't that profitable as there isn't that much demand. Sure sounds like a part one outta hold on to if parting out a truck.
I hate to imagine how hard some of the 1967 only parts must be to find.

There are more 1967 only window regulators than there are 1968/72 window regulators.

C7TZ-8123200-A .. Right Window Regulator / Obsolete - Reproduced?
Carpenter has 1. Is this NOS or a repro?
-------------------------------------------- C7TZ-8123201-A .. Left Window Regulator / Obsolete - Reproduced?
Green Sales has 1, Carpenter has 15. Are these NOS or repro's?
These will not work on 1968/72's because the door shells and window crank handles are different.
I took the door apart, and the gears are indeed stripped. I actually ordered and paid for the regulator on Auto Krafters, but they ended up refunding me due to not having it. These companies not only dont have it but they also will not have them in stock anytime soon.
I went on NPD and I could of sworn they didnt have these in stock a week ago. I ordered it along with some other things. I appreciate the help. Hopefully they actually have it in stock, find out soon enough.
