Time for a change (pics)
a anti-roll bars main purpose is to lessen understeer but in the case of your very tall lift somebody added it to limit suspension travel in an effort to limit body roll caused when they raised the center of gravity which increased the vehicles roll center.... the whole point of lowing your Ex is to improve the vehicles handling in which case keeping the anti-roll bar is counter productive. it will decrease understeer but isnt worth loosing the suspension travel for simply because your Excursion is never going to be a canyon carving porsche 911 no matter how many suspension bandaids you bolt on it.
if you are dead set on a rear sway bar the pro comp setup really is the wrong suspension for you, you want the stock style short travel suspension. ( even then the rear bar diminishes ride quality but plenty of people seem to be convinced a bit less understeer is worth that price)
if you decide to go with new shocks will you sell me your current ones ? I would like to try some diffrent valving on them and use them for testing, i am currently working with Fox shocks on a custom Excursion shock that people can buy off the shelf but would luke to also develop a Bilstein option.
