I'm having trouble trying to rebuild my spring pack. Some of you may remember that I seem to have purchased a mystery spring pack off a f-350 that must have been used for serious hauling. The blocks that I got I assumed were standard f-350 blocks and they are not. They are only 2 1/4 tall. My front after the v codes and 1 1/2 in shackles and 315/75 tires is at 43 3/4 to the bottom of the wheel well. The plan is to at least match that height or slightly more in the rear. I've attached some picture and am open to suggestions. I'd rather not have it ride like a dump truck though. The first pic is comparing the two springs side by side.
Also is it normal for the swaybar end links to be this close to the leaf springs? Obviously it still needs to be tightened.
Ok well here what I came up with for now. I have a feeling it's going to be too stiff and I'll end up picking up a set of b-codes. I kept all the leaves, added the slapped bar on the bottom and used the excursion shims in an attempt to soften the ride some? Lol I have no clue what I'm doing but the shocks and tires will go back on after work and we'll see how it looks and rides.
Here's the finished product. On level ground the measurement to the wheel well is 45" in the rear and 43.5" in the front. I wasn't really going for rake but since I didn't know what I was doing I'm ok with it.
