I just purchased a brand 19 F250 lariat with the sport package, lariat ultimate package, and ultimate trailer tow camera.
I upgraded from a 17 model with the ultimate package so I’m familiar with the truck. But when going through the settings I am not seeing a few things that according to fords website should be included in the lariat ultimate package. Such as ambient lighting. Isn’t there suppose to be an option on the touch screen to change the colors?
Also, the window sticker shows adaptive steering. But looking through the gauge cluster settings I have no options for “driver assist”. Which what appears to be where these settings are based on a Ford how to video.
Any ideas before I go back to dealership and question this stuff?
Ambient lighting is fixed to blue for 2019. No more colors. You can search here and find lots of information about this, including people who have upgraded their 2019 with 2017 lighting modules.
Driver assist isn't a thing ... it's a category of things. So, look for things like collision warnings, lane keeping, adaptive cruise settings, etc.
And, you should always feel free to contact your dealer to find out more about how these features work and where to find them.
I’ll take a look at the modules in threads about lighting. I wouldn’t say it’s even blue honestly. At least compared the 17s.
I see the adaptive cruise settings and all that. But when I was googling the steering feature ford made it seems like there is different modes for this. Maybe not on the f250? And the feature is just there without any settings?

There are different modes. The truck takes care of it automatically. From Fords site:
”Adaptive Steering adjusts the steering ratio in response to vehicle speed. It adapts automatically to the driving situation, whether you’re doing a low-speed maneuver like parking or backing up a trailer, or traveling at cruising speed on the highway. At lower speeds, the steering ratio increases, requiring fewer turns of the steering wheel — and less steering effort. At higher speeds, the steering ratio gradually decreases, producing a steering feel that is firmer and more controlled”.
In a video i I was watching on fords site it explained stuff like setting it to sport mode. So I was just wondering. Not that I need my super duty to steer like a mustang. Haha
Not setting for adaptive stearing on the superduty.get in and go.
If you back up a trailer a lot you might think you are getting real good at it all the sudden.
It's not you, it's the adaptive stearing .

lol thanks. Maybe that’s why I haven’t noticed it so much yet.

The Ambient lighting is an "ice blue" (take blue and add white to it to really lighten it up).
