Have been trying to chase down this issue.
Whenever I start the car, it idles rough for a good 30-60 seconds, and then suddenly smooths out to a normal clean idle.
I know I've replaced almost all sensors and valves in the last 5 years after an overhaul.
I cleaned the throttle body and replaced the IAT sensor.
Anyone have any experience with something like this?

Had a similar issue with a 2006 F350 5.4l. Maybe three years ago it would start real rough like you describe; sounded like it was going to sputter out, coughing, etc. then it would all if the sudden “catch” and run perfectly smooth and normal.
I never did anything to it and it stopped doing it after a few months, so I figured it must have been either bad fuel or something in a filter that got burned or flushed out at some point (was just a plow truck so I didn’t use it daily).
I know that doesn’t really help you much, but just passing along a similar experience
Have you checked the exhaust during this rough idle period to see if it's exceptionally dark or smells like raw fuel may be getting passed through the exhaust? Or do you have a scan tool where you can monitor readings from the various sensors to see if it's running rich, if the engine is showing abnormally cold or hot for the ambient conditions, the intake air temperature or MAF sensor readings are abnormal, etc.? Have you confirmed the level of coolant in the radiator is correct? When is the last time the spark plugs and spark plug wires were inspected and/or replaced?
