Rough idle when started (when engine is hot)?
So, when my truck runs for a while and gets hot, and it sits for 30 or so minutes, it will idle rough, after started, for about 15-30 seconds and then clears itself up. It does not idle rough when stopped at lights....only when started up after it has been run a while and is hot.
It has new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filter, and PCV valve.
Is there an order of things I can check to see what may be causing this rough idle at start up when engine is hot?
Thanks

I recently found my Throttle Position Sensor was throwing an inconsistent voltage when it was heat soaked. It started and drove great from cold with the same rough idle after setting and mine would even kick and buck and shift up prematurely when driving as it got worse. I would just lock the truck and let it idle while running errands and it got so bad that if I did need to shut it off I would put a gallon ziplock of ice up against the throttle body to pull heat out of it . The replacement fixed it.
