I have a set of the cheap tri-y's on my mustang and they fit great, so I took another chance with these. mounted them up to the engine, they fit nice and are pretty well built, except for the ugly welds. I had to ding one tube about 1/16th of an inch to get the bolt in. think I paid like $65 shipped for them. I have a 4r70w and looks like they will clear just fine.
ford390gashog they may have fully welded the header on the inside and ground it flush. when i worked for an aftermarket header company years ago , we did that on some of the headers we built.
Looks good, but don't get your hopes up. I tried an oem Mustang shorty set like that, and looked like they'd clear no problem. The driver's side front cylinder tube interfered with the engine mount perch. Please keep us posted though!
