Headers on Ebay
I am looking for a set of shorty headers for a 302 Ford motor. Looking on Ebay there are several sellers listing coated headers that look nice in the picture but they never list a brand Are allot of these headers imports? Without being able to handle and inspect I hesitate to buy. I did ask one seller for a brand name and country of origin but he never replied. Not replying made me decide I would not buy from him.

I've bought two sets of headers for my 289 on ebay. Both experiences were great. The first set had no name but the seller thought they might be Motorsport block hugger headers and they were ceramic coated (still have them). I got them and found that there was no way they would fit my application. Headers hit engine mounts and starter, etc. I found a guy who had a new set of Sandersons which compared to the other headers looked like they would fit my application. Sure enough, they fit perfect, had them ceramic coated ,got a killer deal and was very happy.

A lot of those shorty headers are from Mustangs. I bought one set for my 81 Grand Marquis, and one for my 86 F250 (didn't fit unless I cut the cab flange) Depends what your application will be, clutch linkage might be in the way. Also Must. headers have a bigger flange so you might have to use a Must. h pipe or custom.
