What are your Favourite Food Outlets ...The U.S. ONLY Please !

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 10-Jun-02 AT 00:41 AM (EST)]Okay the ground rules !

I would like to know what YOU consider the BEST CHAIN Restaurants in the United States, (U.S. residents only please.)

The following fast food places don't count,so please don't mention them:
McDonalds
Burger King
Dairy Queen
Jack In The Box.

I have visited the following restaurants:
Perkin's
Denny's
KFC (I like all the options, compared to Canada)

Please mention Family Oriented Restaurants or just Adult Oriented Restaurants.

Let the FOOD FIGHT Begin !

EDIT: I just saw a commericial for Popeye's.

Never heard of it.

I'm very biased towards where I work: Arby's! Great food compared to the other fast food restaraunts, but a little more expensive.

I love KFC also.

I love the Arbys philly cheese steak with au-jus and their french dip is good too. But as far as chain resturaunt I lean kinda towards Red Lobster or Black Angus steak house. And Cracker Barrel for Breakfast.

Arby's is a popular pick. One of mine also. Let's not forget Ryan's Steak house and Golden Corral. Cracker Barrel is another good choice.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 10-Jun-02 AT 07:35 PM (EST)]I agree with Hooters, something about the atmosphere there makes it a nice place to go for lunch. For a more family oriented place, I'd have to go with Outback Steak House, or Tony Roma's for ribs...hmmm. I'm getting hungry now.

one abbriviation............IHOP!

for those of you who are not fortunate enough to have one close or have never heard of this place......it stands for International House Of Pancakes! this is the GREATEST place to go latenight after a night of heavy beer and spirit drinking. everybody from the surrounding bars go there to cap off the night and sober up(or try to). you can get breakfast or a burger at any hour of the night or morning. and the food is GREAT!

For good family fare, especially when traveling, we love Cracker Barrel. For a great hamburger at the mall, we like Fuddruckers. And for italian sandwiches and pizza, I recommend a chain called "Ledo's," which I think is only on the East Coast U.S. They are the best! For adults only, we stay away from all chains, although I do like the high end steak joints such as Shula's.

I like Subway. Good, healthy subs, and stores all over the US and Canada.

For the best burgers, I have to go with Whataburger. Only places I have seen them are around Texas, Pensacola, FL, and Albany, GA. They have the best burgers I have had.

My vote would have to be Cracker Barrel... uuuummmm good.....
