What comes with the Handling package? In another post I discovered that sway bars came with a handling package and apparently Quad shocks came with that same package. do these riser blocks I found under the rear springs also come with that package? I also noticed if I want to use the rear sway bar that I will either need to transfer rear end housing or weld mounting brackets to my rear end. The rear springs appeared to have an extra weird shaped spring just above the tapered end overload spring. I didn't get a picture of. I am curious if the front sway bar bracket from the 4X4 will work for a 2WD? Don't know did this aux. transmission oil cooler come as part of that package? THESE PARTS ARE FROM AN 1986 FORD F-150 4X4 quad shock upper mounting bracket

Is the swaybar mount actually welded to the axle housing? or is it just stuck on there due to the rust? It should only be held on with a u-bolt through the holes.
Those spacer blocks in the center of the tarp are standard for 4x4's. It brings the ride height up where they want it and the long tapered wing that sticks out hits the rubber bumper on the frame. That helps keep the rearend from banging the frame and also helps keep from breaking leaves in the springs. If you ever put a lift kit on your truck, this factory block needs to go on top to keep the bump stop feature functional.
Well Rembrant. You might be right, when I took it apart I had enough weight hanging off of the sway bar brackets mounted on the rear end, I thought it have come off. In another photo I have, I don't see any welds. It will be a tomorrow before I can get over to the shop.
This is a DANA 44 Rearend, correct?
