I posted this on the 2017+ Super Duty thread, but got no responses. This might be a better place to ask this,
I followed the recommendation of forum members and added a MX OBDII adapter to my 2019 F350 6.7. I had a 2006 F350 with a 6.0 and used a Scangauge on it. I knew which PID's to setup on it. With the 6.7 the number of parameters I can monitor is overwhelming. Outside of the usual PID's ( fluid temps, boost, etc), what PID's would you guys recommend I setup on my MX for the 6.7? Does the "Diesel aftertreatment status" PID show how much the particulant filter is clogged as a percentage? I tow a 5th wheel and like to be able to monitor my truck.
I'm a bit confused by your question. The MX OBDII is the device that connects to the modules so a piece of software can display the PID's transmitted from the MX. Are you using ForScan or Torque Pro for monitoring?
I personally use Torque Pro and my Android Phone with the MX Bluetooth adapter. A few very helpful users here on the forums have created a plugin that adds all the 6.7l specific PIDs for Torque Pro..
