2000 f35o super duty 7.3. on warm up starts just fine. idles great. no misses. drives great lots of power. when driving hits 4 gear if I give it gas the S E light will come on then off. even if I leave my foot into it or let off the gas. some time from 3 to 4 when giving it gas. heading down the hwy it may even if I do or don't give it more gas. there is no pattern to it. if I drive to the big city ( 45 min ) at 65mph. I will never see the S E light come on again. when I got the truck I heard it had a programmer. didn't come with the truck, ill get back to this. it has done this from day one. 2 months I've had this truck. I put a hydra chip in it. still did the S E light. two days ago I got the programmer. took out my chip. hooked up the Edge 15000. read the code p0603 ( kam error ) from what I read, not a big deal. cleared the code. put im pcm back to stock with the edge 15000. re install my hydra. this morning heading to work. still having the S E light at times. hope this is enough info for SOME help. lol
ford friend ( yes I have some... ok 1 ) hahah. said it could be wanting more oil?? I checked the best I could without removing the turbo Y. all my hot and cold intake sleeves look good, no cracks clamps were tight.
could it be my trans?? I know it had a newer one installed with a heavy torque converter. any other thoughts. Thanks!!!!
