2019 F-250 King Ranch Build

Howdy!

Looking forward to sharing my build on here. Absolutely love my new truck but it’s just too stock for me. I’ve got everything on order and should have it all installed by end of May.

2019 F-250 King Ranch 6.7L
  • Carli 2.5” Backcountry
    • Carli Radius Arms
    • Full Deaver Leaf Springs
    • High Mount Steering Stabilizer
  • Toyo 37” RT (Or Nitto Ridge Grapplers - Suggestions?)
  • Method 18” 305 NV HD
  • ADD Stealth Front and Rear Replacement Bumpers
    • Powder To Match King Ranch 2 Tone Caribou with Black Accents
    • Baja OnX Light Bar Front
    • Baja Squadron Rear
  • Line X Bedliner
  • Wincos Tint

Been reading a lot from everyone on here and think I will be super pleased with this setup. Open to anyone’s suggestions. I want the rear to be level or lower than the front - read someone did the PWS drop shackles to get the same desired look.

Will likely delete it after I get all this on.

Not sure if I'm reading this part wrong, any reason you want the rear lower than the front? Going for the cali lean look?

P.S truck looks great as it sits. 👍

I just don’t want the rear higher than the front like it is and from what I’ve read with others using Carli, the rear will sit higher than the front. I want it totally leveled. Definitely not going for Cali lean lol

Have you made sure the 37s will clear all the hardware and fit right with the 2.5 lift and wheel combo?

I have Toyo 37s on my KR350, but had to make some educated guesses on fit and stance.

Also I’d let the back still be a tad higher so you don’t have the “brodozer” look going on. Especially when you load the bed or the hitch down.

Good looking truck! Black is faster FYI.

As far as tires, I'm looking into the BFG KO2s. I have Nitto on my last truck and loved them but I don't use the truck off road, just off pavement. Between the Toyo and Nitto, I have heard the Toyo are louder on the road. No personal experience, just came across that in my searches.

The tires, level kit, and Stealth bumpers will really make this stand look mean. Can't wait to watch it evolve.

Those KO2 are super loud fyi. I use to run them on my old Tacoma.

if you raise the front 2.5" you will probably need new shocks. But I would wait unit I knew for sure if the tires will clear with stock tires...different heights have different length shock options.

those blacked out bumpers should be an easy sell

Interesting. I’ve run them on several Super Duties, and found them quiet as can be. I think it’s a Tacoma suspension and shock thing you had going. I heard Cooper AT3’s were quiet and highly rated. Put them on my wife’s Expedition, and soon afterward, they became loud howlers.

I run 6 of them (dually). They are not loud by any means.

From what I have read and what the shop says, 37's should be no problem.

I don't haul frequently but good point. More concerned with daily stance than when loaded.

Thank you! I can't wait to get it on all.

I've had Nitto G2s on my last two trucks and was happy with them but looking for something a little more aggressive. The Nitto Ridge Grapplers are about $500 more but I'm not sure I am a fan of the Toyo looks...Interesting on the Nittos being quieter.

The carli 2.5" backcountry kit comes with Fox 2.0 w/ reservoirs.

Any reason you don't want to go higher? I've always had a hard time justifying the price of the smaller Carli/Icon etc. lifts when the taller ones are not much more expensive. It's a lot of money just to get a truck 2.5 inches higher. But otherwise sounds like a good plan you have

I had the same thoughts and wanted to go with the 4.5" but ultimately decided on the 2.5"... Not one reason in particular...part of me still says to go with the 4.5"
