Hi All,
There is an option to turn off the back-up assist by pressing the reset button while you're in reverse. Unfortunately, it defaults to the "on" mode when the vehicle is restarted so you have to reset every time you power up.
Is there a way to disable it until you want it again? It was ok to have on the '05 but now that the '12 has a back-up camera, I don't need the beeping to turn my music down every time I back up.
