spark plug wire grommet
I have a 1955 ford 312 ci engine, can someone tell me how many spark plug wire grommets go on either side of the distributor. mine are gone and i want to take it back to original equipment. Thank you in advance.

There are 4 grommets in all. One square one on each rear corner of the block and 2 rectangular ones - one is at the rear, just left of center, of the block. The other is behind the right head. So 2 grommets on each side of the distributor. Try Mac's, Sacramento Vintage, Dennis Carpenter, Melvin's Classic Ford Parts, etc. One of them has a spark plug wire grommet set that comes wilth the brackets, grommets, and two 4 place wire separators.
