2004 6.0 F350; Had bad injector #1 so i tore it down and replaced it. Well, now with ICP plugged in it turns over hard and seems to make the starter jump. With it unplugged it starts fine just has low power from the start, no boost.
I replaced the ICP and pigtail and have the same issue. Has left me scratching my head, any ideas?
Get a scan tool so you can post some numbers. We need to know actual ICP pressure and voltage. Also would be good to see the codes. Recommend ForScan Lite on a smart phone.

Here are the numbers obtained;
KOEO
ICP voltagew is 3.82
With ICP connected cranking:
ICP desired 976
ICP Actual 3350
IPR 45
ICP Disconnected
ICP Desired 940
ICP Actual 966
IPR 35
When the ICP is plugged in and I try cranking the starter spins for about two seconds and then it skips on the flywheel like it is locked up.. If the the ICP is bad now with the second one in with the same issue, and nothing other than replacing the #1 injector, I don't get it. Could the IPR not be opening enough to bleed the oil down to manageable range?
Thank you for your thoughts on this as I have not had this issue before. Had many others including not enough pressure but never too much.
