Replaced both rear cab mounts on my 2011 F250. Mounts only lasted 8 years and they were a pain to separate and remove. How this started, I would hit a bump in the road or drive over RR tracks producing a banging sound that came from the bed area. Long story short, I stood on the hitch mount (bumper removed) and bounced up and down which duplicated the same noise as I watch the cab move up and down. To confirm, I had a friend bounce on the hitch while I looked from under the truck. Just wanted everyone to know how I found the problem (took 3 days to track it down), it may save some time if your having the same type of noise.
The mounts on my 08' looked about the same. Just dont hold up. Polyurethane is an option instead of the OEMs but had heard ride quality and squeeks may be an issue. Ended up going the OEM route. Search ebay for any one that wants OEM, someone sells whole upper and lower oem kits alot cheaper than buying individually.
I also went with an OEM fit aftermarket replacement kit. I didn't want to put up with any noise from the poly's. I'll be selling this truck next year after I order my 2020 F350. Don't want to explain any more noises than I have to
