The original lines were aluminum tubes that are notoriously bad for leaking due splits in the material etc. The best bet but certainly NOT cheap is having replacement hydraulic hoses made. Since you're not in Conroe, TX find a local Parker hydraulic fitting/hose seller or someone similar. They're more than qualified and experienced to make what you need. HOWEVER............
A/C lines used spring lock connectors that I'm not sure if there are adapters or such allowing a relatively simple way to accomplish this. You might try contacting a repair shop for RV's or limousines which have A/C systems with long runs between the compressor and evaporator.
