Another Brake Question....

I added a Dual Master Cylinder (no booster) to the stock drum/drum setup on '53. Install directions said nothing about plumbing. On the Mid-Fifty page it says NO valves required, proportional nor line.
Has anyone done this install, (stock drum/drum, no booster)? Did you use any valving?
Thanks

drum/drum set up should not require valving however it is so easy to add an adjustable valve to the back brake line and then you can fine tune your braking very easily.

CPP (Classic Performance Products) the originator of the Master Cylinder, said I need the 10lbs Residual Valves for Drum Brakes with the Mid-Fifty "sold" Master Cylinder... The original system had no valves so maybe it needs none.. I am going to install the Residual Pressure Valves because in the long run better safe than sorry...

Many of the drum/drum MC's have residual valves installed in the ports. If you look in them, you should be able to tell.
