Hey thanks again everyone for the advise and videos. I see now that I have some maintinence things to do first and find were the oil may be leaking from. I’ll keep you updated. Thank you
Thanks! I'm glad I could help. None of it is my own information, just stuff I've learned here and pass along as I worked on my own truck. For me, I like having a video to watch, so I figured others are the same way.
I'm not mechanic or film maker, just a guy on forum trying to contribute to a community.
Glad to hear you find them helpful!
Well Trey, you are nice and in my world Nice counts for a lot...
Some of the 7.3 videos i can not even watch for some funky reasons..
Thanks for the advise. Other than tarring into things what are some methods of diagnosing this issue that you have heard of or seen?
Build a boost leak detector and put it to use. A quick search will show you how.

A good “upgrade” to go along with need maintenance that will prevent you from being stranded roadside is rebuilding your fuel bowl, fuel pressure regulator and lines.
dieselorings.com has all the good stuff you need.
i suggest “upgrading” the cast pressure regulator to their billet one, the cast unit is fragile and fails.
you can also upgrade the passenger side head fuel line clamp as it rubs a hole in the line, a good “upgrade” is a zip tie.
both of those are leave you stranded items but you should also check your fuel pressure and rebuild the regulated with a new poppet, seals and spring, this will restore fuel pressure and performance that is typically degraded by 100k miles from low pressure. New parker seals and o rings all around is recommended.
