First 7.3
Bottom line inherited a 95 7.3 4x4(all the time?) 4inch lift with 33's and diablo chip 50k on new tranny 210k of motor body, will never get rid of this truck to many memorys. So basically im young without alot of money and need to know the best maintenence schedule whats expected to fail etc. Been sitting 1-2 years drained both tanks new filter motor oil filter air filter checked fuel bowl and cleaned, also the hpop reservoir was empty(guess from sitting so long?) Filled it up cranked immedietly, and useing "power service diesel kleen" for additive is that good if not better. I will be useing this as a work truck not a toy i need it to act like one.

Change all fluids, check for exhaust leaks (up pipe to collector and boost leaks. Do the down pipe and get rid of the stock air box, and do the 6637 MOD or if you want $$$ get an AFE air intake system.

automatic, I would presume the e40d. but not 100% positive
and what would be the safest way to test for air leaks with exhaust and boost?

leaf blower on exhaust and a squirt bottle of soap
compressor and a fernco coupling for boost
make sure you have 45 PSI min on fuel WOT in third

I used Hot Shot Secret in my truck. I bought the Diesel Duo package. It was 80 bucks
