The beginning of "Striking Distance" w/ Bruce Willis set in Pittsburg. Lots of bumps, light bars flying off of scout cars...Great.

Gone in 60 Seconds (1974 version) and The Blues Brothers both have some awesome chase scenes.

I can't believe that nobody has mentioned "Duel". Around an hour and a half, almost no talking, and the whole movie is a chase scene between a Duster and a semi-tanker. Awesome. The Italian Job one was ok, but a little wierd, and the French Connection was awesome, with a couple of crashes that weren't supposed to happen.

Mystery Science Theater 3000's chase scene from the movie Mitchell!

wonderful really...

no really, I actually liked the Gone In 60 Seconds chase scene with Nic Cage. Loved that movie -- never saw the original

MIB 2 - riding in the aircraft at the end and he says,"Here we go! Automatic pilot!" and the pilot guy pops up and sits in his lap!

You should see the original Gone in Sixty Seconds, 40 minutes and destroyed 93 cars and wrecked hundreds more!! The firefighters and police officers, etc. in the movie were all real!! There was no "set", scene in the movie was real and on location. Great Movie!!!
