Manifold Vacuum Thread Size
Morning,
I searched but didn't seem to find.
Anyone know the proper thread type and size for the manifold vacuum port? Trying to cap it but 3 trips to the store netted me 3 caps that don't fit.

A cap or plug? Most I've seen are a tapped hole in the manifold, which would require a plug. What I did to temporarily plug mine was to use a short piece of 1/2" hose with a short 1/2" bolt in it, and hose clamp it.

I just plugged one in my manifold. Mine was a 7/16" fine thread bolt. I used a copper washer with it. It's the open hole in the pic. I took the nipple out and plugged it. I used the carburetor base plate fitting instead. Hope this helps.
