Intake manifold

I have a edelbrock performer 400 series and it has what I think is two vacuum ports on it. Can I just use any bolt that fits to plug it? My stock manifold does not have them

If I remember correctly the huge one in the front is a 3/4 pipe plug that you can get at your local hardware store for a buck or two.
