In passenger compartment... Fire extinguisher, a minimaglite in the visor and an led light. In the console I have a USGI flashlite, Swiss Army Knife, Firstaid kit, electronic thermometer, tire gauge, coins, kleenex. I have more kleenex and napkins in the glove box, some wetwipes, comb, pencil. Also have maps in the seat pockets, wipe rags, umbrella. Also have a bottle of Rainex in the door pocket. Also keep a USGI mini Duffle with a USGI blanket.
In the bed, I had a wooden platform/storage floor that sits over the wheelwells and provides space to "hide" things under the floor. I have two large flat Rubbermaid storage boxes that hold a toolkit with nuts and bolts and stuff, a 4 way tire iron, jumper cables, electronic road flares, USGI folding shovel, snow teeth for the tires, Air pump, hydraulic jack. And I have tire chains in a side compartment. The bed also has foam padding and two sheets of all weather carpet and the camper shell.

This same question was asked just less than a year ago. Within a week of seeing all the responses from everyone else, my gear list doubled. If I add much more now, the name "toolbox on wheels" my friends have dubbed will be quite accurate.
I have finely reached the point where when I go on one of my "excursions" (typically hunting or fishing), I have everything I need. Believe it or not, there were actually a few things I forgot to mention:
Umbrella
sun glasses
change (coins)
extra keys
frs radio
waterless hand cleaner
insurance card
During hunting season, the list grows to include:
backpack
weeks worth of clothes
mosquito netting
hunting knives
pruning shears
folding hand saw
mini binoculars
lag screw hooks
string/cord
compass
hats & gloves
flashlight
brite eyes twist ties
gun wipes
soap
deodorant
shampoo
toothbrush
toothpaste
dental floss
baby oil
aspirin
tylenol
ibuprofen
antacid
washcloth
nonprescription meds
prescription meds
vitamins
supplements
razors & shaving cream
allergy medicine
hand lotion
travel alarm
insect repellent
rifle (44Mag & 30-06)
shotgun (11/87 & 835)
ammo boxes (w/ammo for all guns)
sleeping bags and pillows
mess kit,canteens, canteen cup
speedy sticher
binoculars
lag screw hooks
machetes w/sheaths
plastic sheeting
emergency whistles/waterproof match case
signal mirror
All of this and I still have room for passengers! Ya gotta love these superduties!
As haroutd said, carrying this much stuff does demand organization. A place for everything and everything in its place!
My nickname at the hunt club is hardware and my truck is referred to as the hardware store.

If Gary decides to invade, I surrender. And in case your local Home Depot is closed while you're in the middle of a project, call Gary. If he doesn't have it, you don't need it!
I thought I was a nut, but Gary's on a whole different level...
Just got my truck in August, so my list is just starting:
HK USP 45 w/ 2 spare mags
WELL STOCKED medical kit
Cell phone
Hand tools
Jumper cables
2 tow straps
leather gloves

I had to cut fallen trees and/or branches out of the roadway at least two times a week last winter [more during big storms]. We had 44 inches of rain last year and one storm with sustained winds of 74 mph that was blowing over 150' tall Doug Firs
