I am planning out some paint. Noticed the forward dash was painted flat black. I was thinking about painting it orange with the rest of the truck but then considered the possibility this could cause glare. Of course if this were the case, I would definitely want to stay with flat black.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Aesthetically I do want to paint this orange but functional concerns will dictate black if the glare is an issue.

I'm having the same thoughts on my truck. Was going to paint the whole dash the yellow the rest of the truck will be painted, but I 'm thinking the windshield might
reflect the colour and affect visibility. Waiting for any responses.

 

I would like to know too....
Mine has bleached out so much from sun exposure that it is almost white..... FLAT white but almost white.....
Black to match the dash pad might not be a bad idea.
