Over the years, my beige dash has several nicks and scraps that appear to expose the black plastic underneath what appears to be a painted surface.
Is there touch-up paint for the dash colors?
I've got the two tone beige and a darker shade around the console. [Kind of surprised that this is a painted finish instead of thru-material colorizing!]
I am in the same boat. I bought a couple of cans of Duplicolor Interior paint that best matches the stock shade of Prairie Tan. I figure that Ill just take off all the affected panels and paint them so that they all match. That is the best fix i have found so far.
..Or you could get a dash kit and just cover up those scrapes. But I don't really like the idea of sticking double tape onto a painted surface that is slowly peeling away..
sem vinyl dye is the only way to repaint interior parts and plastics. you need to use sem soap to clean surface.then vinyl prep and finally a sem vinyl dye.after these 3 steps you can clear coat and buff to never have to do it again. it will hold up better than factory.
