The problem is, the reproduction only comes with the brush. Originally, the genuine Ford brush and insulator came as a kit.
I sold 100's of these puppies over the years, mainly to resto shops, so I ain't just a whistlin' Dixie.

I have several of them where it is just brushes in original Ford packaging.
Here's the lower insulator like my truck uses.
I think the fella just needs the brush since he already has all the insulators installed on his truck. Look at some of those on eBay, too. Same deal. I am just whistling dixie here.

The glue on the envelope flap dried out, so it's possible the insulator fell out of the package. And once the flap was opened, there was no way to reseal it.

I drew a yellow arrow to what looks like the plastic insulator here. It looks like it is already installed to me, but you are much closer to the action.
Not to jack this thread but didn’t want to make another since this one is similar. On a 66 is the turn signal switch just have the one brush for it? I hope it is cause I already ordered it lol

everything that I found online said for 66 it only has the one brush on the turn signal switch assembly. That includes macs and dc. Plus eBay and Amazon.
"To remove the horn contact plate and wire assembly, first remove the horn button spring, the contact brush and the steering wheel."
I don't believe you can get to the lower contact brush in the turn signal switch assembly with the steering wheel installed so they must be talking about a second upper brush in my mind. You can also see the representative picture showing the location of the brush in the steering wheel. Drawing shows 4-spoke wheel but 3-spoke wheel is same deal (see picture above with yellow arrow for location of upper brush and insulator.

so is the second brush up on the wheel then? Here’s a picture of the one I got...
You quoted me. Did you read what I said that you quoted? I can't imagine there is room for doubt.

well the picture you put in didn’t have a turn signal switch at least from what I could see. It appeared that it just had one wire for the horn. My question is does the actual turn signal switch house one brush or two brushes. I found two online that one had two and the other had one, and from what I found online, the two brush turn signal switch was for Broncos.
Yes, if you look at the opposite side of the switch shown in your picture where the blue/white wire runs by itself to the hollow plastic tube. The one brush sits inside of that hollow plastic tube there in the switch. The drawing is just showing the one wire since it's the only horn related wire in there - the rest are not horn related.
