My poor Excursion, she takes a beating cause she is my winter girl. I had to do the brakes and this is the second time since I've owned it. This time is a major job, right down to the hard lines. With that said, it's been a up hill battle all the way(frozen hose bolts, brackets, etc) the worst being the rear diff vent tube bolt. It was a major pain to get out but my flame wrench make quick work of it. Now I have to bend all the lines and reassemble and power bleed the system and hopefully it will be good to go. I had only one caliper that I decided not to rebuild,I replaced due to it condition. I'll let y'all know the out come in a couple of days and then it's on to the hpop and up pipes.
I went under the F250 yesterday out of curiosity and this is the second year I drove it in the winter. I got to lay it up and get some protection on the under side if I'm going to keep it around awhile. It's the brine they put on the roads. Just think that crap is going into our aquapher and that is not good. Roads are taking a beating as well..........our tax dollars at work here folks.
We first saw thing in the Midwest, both on rotors and the issues the trucking industry was having. It’s another government program that has unintended consequences, but they won’t acknowedge the issue and would never admit they are the cause. Vehicle and roadway destruction, homeless in the street, gangs, the inverted food pyramid that’s hurting people worldwide, statins ...... what problem.
